About Us

Welcome to Little Bean

We started Little Bean with the idea and desire to ensure that women went into birth feeling knowlegeable, prepared, strong and confident. Birth is unpredictable, but you can still have an understanding of what you are feeling as you go through it. You can have the knowledge to make decisions that feel best for you and baby in real time. Your pregnancy and birth will change you and we know first hand it can feel scary but we truly believe being prepared can help ease those worries and therefore let you face this moment as the badass you are!

Agathe Lapointe

Nurse Clinician
With a background of 12 years in nursing, Agathe has been working in Women's Health for the past 6 years of her career. A labor & delivery nurse, she is also trained as a Neonatal Resuscitation instructor and has been an educator in a high-risk pregnancy hospital. Agathe is also a certified yoga teacher, which compliments her work in accompanying birthing people through movement and breathing. She believes empowering families through the huge adventure that is pregnancy, birth and postpartum is the key to a positive experience.

Sabina Finnie

Nurse Clinician
Sabina's interest in birth started when she witnessed her little sister come into this world. And although her path to supporting births was not a straight one, around numerous corners she was reminded that she loved all things birth and babies, eventually leading her to taking a position on a labor and delivery unit. She quickly realised this was her happy place. Sabina brings a background of 10 years of nursing, 3 years of teaching both classroom and clinical nursing and PAB courses. She is a firm believer in bodily autonomy especially when it comes to medical decisions. She finds great joy in sharing her knowledge regarding how to navigate all things birth so that you can then feel empowered.
Our mission is to approach the life-changing adventure of Pregnancy, birth & postpartum from a perspective of curiosity and knowledge, therefore creating a supportive and healthy experience for all families.
